JWZ developed the program for the park through direction from the City of North Las Vegas, but primarily from public workshops and design charettes conducted which included residents from this area of the city.  The park’s main entry area functions as a “town center” gathering space that draws park goers in, and then provides direction to disperse them to various park activities.  These activities include soccer, T-ball, picnic areas, basketball, open play, bocce, and horseshoes.  The park was designed to North Las Vegas city standards and is a barrier free design using sound green architecture and sustainability principles.
