JWZ is designing this four mile long multi-use trail in conjunction with the realignment of Burkholder Avenue. The western 2 miles of this trail will be lit and meander through a suburban portion of Old Henderson. The eastern portion of the trail is rural in nature and connects to the River Mountains Loop Trail, it also provides for equestrian use. The trail amenities will include seating areas, drinking fountains, and interpretive signage.
