The landscape initiative for the new McCarran International Terminal 3 will incorporate safety, art in the landscape, and xeriscape (low maintenance and water effective landscape). To punctuate certain focal areas of the landscape design, we are suggesting the use of art in the landscape.  This art will range from rock patterns to commissioned outdoor sculptures.  Incorporating these elements into the landscape gives the visitors a more memorable experience that will hopefully last with them until their next vacation to Las Vegas. The landscape that we have proposed for the new terminal will enhance the roadways and provide a balance.  The plant material that we have specified will be drought tolerant, and will have a low amount of maintenance required.  All plant material will be adaptable to the weather in Las Vegas as well.
